Fight Gone bad 5

Wow! Saturday the 25th of Sept. at CFNZ saw an amazing group of people taking part in the fundraising event ‘Fight Gone Bad”. I think there was a total of 50 of us competing , and heaps of spectators all yelling and encouraging us. I had so much fun and am super pleased with the result.

ok so the evil workout is:

3 Rounds of 1 minute spent at each station

1 min Wall balls w/ 5kg

1 min Box Jumps 20″

1 min Sumo High Pulls w/25kg

1 min push-press w/ 25kg

1 min row (total calories)

1 min rest

Add the total number of reps completed for your score…..last year I only managed 150 reps (with 22.5kg bar)….. this year i managed a happy 287. Yay! My fiance entered the competition for the first time completing a total of 254 reps, mens weight is different. There were so many strong people there and everyone worked so hard,putting every ounce of omph they had into it.

This followed up with some yummy BBQ food and primal eating….yum!  I also sneaked a couple dozen of my paleo muffins along and was pleased to say they didn’t last very long! Everyone was asking for the recipe  🙂

It was also the first time are team had represented Kia Kaha CrossFit, with coach Jamie coming in first for the men with a massive score of 354!  We rocked our new  Under Armour T-Shirts and smiled lots!!  Looking forward to the opening of the new gym this Friday. There will be a 6am workout for the first one….uh oh, what is it gonna be?!?
